Hi, it’s Ginnie. If you lived in New Jersey in 2020, you remember. We were one of the hardest-hit states when COVID first spread. Every one of us knows someone who got sick, and a lot of families lost people they loved. It changed how we think about our homes.

I’ve been cleaning homes here for over ten years, and since then, the questions I get from clients have changed. It’s not just “can you make it look nice?” anymore. It’s “can you help keep my family from getting sick?”

We’re the most densely populated state in the country. How we do it

Disinfecting isn’t just spraying something and walking away. Surfaces have to be cleaned first, because dirt and grime can keep a disinfectant from doing its job. Then the disinfectant has to sit on the surface long enough to actually work.

So my crew and I do it the right way, step by step:

  1. Clean every high-touch surface to remove dirt and buildup.

  2. Disinfect using products made for household germs, following the directions on the label.

  3. Give special attention to kitchens, bathrooms and shared family spaces.

We bring all our own supplies, and we’re careful around kids, pets and delicate surfaces.
